		<description>I had a blast, it was great to meet some awesome people and the food was amazing. The icing on the cake was hearing Tara&#039;s story.

		<description>@JMH this was our original intention but it looks like the restaurant took some of the orders pretty early on.  We felt bad that Tara had to stare at her food for a while and then watch her soup being taken away!  We&#039;ll try as you suggest to start the speaking portion and order taking at the same time.  Thanks for the idea!

@Gail thanks for the post, I&#039;m really glad you were able to come and let us know how it went with your thesis.</description>

		<description>My only suggestion would be to perhaps start future guest speakers before the dinner portion of the evening (maybe as orders are being taken?) so that the bulk of their presentation would be finished by the time people were being served. I picked a not-so-great seat and kept turning back and forth between Tara and my plate. This would also mean that speakers themselves would have a chance to eat at the same time as the rest of the attendees. Post-dinner could be reserved for Q&amp;As and/or one-on-one follow-ups, maybe?</description>
